Completed Projects of Manav Kalyan Sansthan

These projects reflect our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact across various sectors, including education, healthcare, women empowerment, environmental protection, and social justice. We continually strive to develop new initiatives and expand our reach to better serve the communities in need.

Clean Water Initiative

Our Clean Water Initiative aimed to provide safe drinking water to communities in drought-prone and water-scarce areas. Through this project, we implemented rainwater harvesting systems, constructed check dams, and set up water filtration units in rural areas. The project successfully benefited thousands of families by improving access to clean water.

Dowry Abolition Campaign

The Dowry Abolition Campaign was designed to raise awareness about the harmful impacts of the dowry system. Through community outreach, workshops, and awareness rallies, we have educated both men and women about the dangers of dowry practices and the importance of gender equality. This campaign helped reduce dowry-related violence and promoted the empowerment of women in several regions.

Disaster Relief for Flood Victims

After devastating floods in several parts of the region, we launched a Disaster Relief project to provide immediate assistance to the affected families. The project included distribution of food, medical supplies, and clothing, as well as setting up temporary shelters. We also contributed to long-term rehabilitation efforts, helping families rebuild their homes and livelihoods.

Old Age and Orphan Support Program

This completed project focused on providing shelter, food, and medical care for the elderly and orphaned children in need. We set up care homes where elderly individuals and children could receive emotional support, medical attention, and a safe environment to live. This initiative improved the quality of life for many people who were otherwise neglected or abandoned.

Completed Projects of the Organization

Both of these completed projects have made a lasting impact on the communities they served. Through the Green Gorakhpur Tree Plantation Campaign, we have contributed to a healthier environment, and through the Disability Support Program, we have empowered individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live dignified lives. These initiatives reflect our continued commitment to social welfare, environmental conservation, and inclusivity.

Green Gorakhpur Tree Plantation Campaign

The Green Gorakhpur Tree Plantation Campaign was one of our most successful environmental initiatives. This project focused on tree plantation and environmental conservation in and around the city of Gorakhpur. The goal was to increase green cover, improve air quality, and raise awareness about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance. Over the course of the campaign, we successfully planted over 50,000 trees in different parts of the city, including public parks, schools, and along highways. This initiative not only contributed to the beautification of the area but also helped combat the rising pollution levels and promote biodiversity. The campaign was supported by local communities, schools, and volunteers, who played an essential role in its success.

Disability Support Program - 2022

Our Disability Support Program – 2022 was launched to provide assistance to individuals living with disabilities, particularly those with mobility impairments such as clubfoot and other physical disabilities. The goal of this program was to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities through medical treatment, rehabilitation, and assistive devices. We partnered with local hospitals and medical professionals to provide free surgeries, physiotherapy, and prosthetic devices. Additionally, we helped raise awareness about the inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of life, from education to employment. In 2022, we successfully supported over 1,000 individuals with disabilities. Many received corrective surgeries for clubfoot and other conditions, while others benefited from wheelchairs, walking aids, and hearing devices. The program also included vocational training for people with disabilities, helping them learn skills that would allow them to become financially independent and contribute actively to their communities. This project has made a significant impact on the lives of many people with disabilities, giving them the opportunity to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.
