Key Highlights of the Health Camp - 2023
• Date & Location: The Health Camp was held on 21/06/2023 at Chauri Chaura, serving hundreds of individuals from nearby villages and urban slums.
• Medical Services Provided:
- Free Check-ups: Over 264 people received free general health check-ups, including consultations with doctors, blood pressure monitoring, and diagnostic screenings.
- Specialized Care: A team of specialists provided consultations in areas such as pediatrics, gynecology, dental care.
- Medications and Treatments: Free medicines were distributed to those who needed them, and immediate treatment was provided for various common ailments.
- Health Education Sessions: Informational sessions were conducted on hygiene, preventive health care, nutrition. to raise awareness about important health practices.
• Volunteers and Partners: The event saw a large participation of 140 medical professionals, volunteers, and local healthcare workers who provided their services selflessly. We are grateful to our corporate partners and donors for supporting this initiative.
• Impact:
- More than 100 individuals benefitted from the health camp.
- A significant number of people were identified with critical health issues and referred to hospitals for further treatment.
- Numerous attendees expressed gratitude for the healthcare services and education they received during the event, which they otherwise wouldn’t have had access to.
• Future Plans: Due to the success of this event, Manav Kalyan Sansthan plans to organize more health camps throughout the year, expanding our reach to more communities and providing consistent medical support to those in need.
